Getting started with Abe..

If you like Old Abe, you'll enjoy my web site http://www.abepress.com/ -especially if you are a collector of books about Abe. My award winning book, Honestly Abe a Cartoon Biography of Abraham Lincoln, won the 1999 Benjamin Franklin Award for biography in Canada and the United States. Drawn by internationally know political cartoonist, Edgar(Sol)Soller. it consists of 279 original historical cartoons about our 16th president, and you don't have to know history to get the message. Following Lincoln's KISS(keep it simple and short stupid) approach to speaking and writing, my purpose was to make history enjoyable for everyone from 10 to 110. It's peoples history for plumbers, school kids, housewives, meat cutters, you name it and not history for historians. It's history fun for everyone. Open my web site and hit the Honestly Abe link and savor the samples. Remember Honestly Abe is like a box of chocalets. You never know what you're going to get. One thing for sure, you will know a lot more about Old Abe and his legacy.

What's happening in Cucumonga

Had a great time yesterday at the veterans' day services. Had free food and lots of patriotism. Saw my first M! rifle in years with the honor guard. I slept with one of them for a long time in WWII. Now I can't start to break it down and clean it. Old soldiers never die, they just can't get their gun to work.
